Advocacy
Being a Foster and Family carer is a generous and deeply meaningful role, but it can also be challenging, emotional, and sometimes overwhelming especially when caring for children who have experienced trauma while navigating complex systems. Support and advocacy services are there to walk alongside foster carers, helping them understand what to expect, communicate confidently, work through difficulties, and feel respected as important members of a child’s care team.
Services of the Association
Our services include;
Current Annual Membership Fees
Foster Care

FCAWA’s services are accessible to all foster families regardless of whether or not they are a member of our Association. However, being a member of FCAWA does have its benefits.
Our membership programme strives to strengthen foster families and enhance the well-being of the children in their care.
