Foodbank understands that transport can be a barrier for people experiencing hardship

The Mobile Foodbank concept is one way they can take food directly to the people who need it most throughout the Perth metro area

How can you access Foodbank?

Foodbank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation and provides food and groceries to people who are struggling by rescuing and sourcing food and groceries from farmers, manufacturers and retailers and distributing them to people in need. In order to access this food relief, you need to be a member of a charitable organisation. FCAWA is a such member with foodbank and all members of our Association are eligible to become a member with Foodbank.

In order to gain access to Foodbank, you will need to take an FCAWA Letter of Referral, along with photo identification, to any of the Foodbank outlets across Western Australia where you will be registered on the spot and provided with a Foodbank membership card.

If you are a current member of the Foster Care Association and you would like to access Foodbank, please email FCAWA Office Manager, Julie Williams, at admin@fcawa.com.au. Julie will then forward you a Letter of Referral by return email.

Foodbank understands that transport can be a barrier for people experiencing hardship, so their new Mobile Foodbank concept is one way they can take food directly to the people who need it most throughout the Perth metro area.  To view the location, dates and times of Mobile Foodbank, please click here.
