How Membership can Benefit you
The Foster Care Association of Western Australia (FCAWA) provides support and advocacy to all foster and kinship carers throughout WA regardless of whether they are a member of our Association. However, being a member of FCAWA does have its benefits.
Our membership programme strives to strengthen foster families and enhance the well-being of the children in their care. FCAWA welcomes all new members and invites all foster & kinship carers interested in making a difference to the lives of children and young people in care, to join our special community.Â

2024 is going to bring about some very exciting changes to FCAWA’s Membership Programme. We are currently liaising with many family attraction venues to see if FCAWA members can obtain discounted pricing for entry into these venues. We will also be working closely with venues in Regional WA. On top of this, we are liaising with major retail vendors to see if we can obtain discounted pricing on items such as haircuts, school shoes, educational resources and sports equipment.
Membership is required to attend our extremely popular annual Christmas party, as well as other regular exciting events that are delivered throughout the year.  FCAWA plans to run more events where carers and children will have the opportunity to come together, in a happy, fun and relaxed environment.  These events will allow carers to mingle and network with other like-minded people who dedicate their lives to caring for kids in out of home care.

Current Annual Membership Fees
Foster Care
$15.00 for a single parent foster family.
$30.00 for two adult parents in a foster family.
The Foster Care Association uses Wild Apricot, a third party provider, to manage our Membership Programme. Please click on the button below, where you will be directed to a site which will allow you to complete a Membership Application form and become a member of our Association.
Upon joining, you will be provided with a username and password. You will need to use these details to login, view and register for any of our Member Only events including our highly popular Family Christmas Party.
